Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Amy Hanson and I am writing to express my interest in your graduate Nursing programme. I am currently studying at the University of Ballarat and am in my final year of completing a Bachelor of Nursing. I believe I posses the qualities and skills to become a valuable asset to your health care team.  

I have completed clinical placement at the Austin hospital in Melbourne working in the Mental health unit and at the Repatriation hospital in Aged care. I have also recently carried out placement at Ballarat Base hospital in the surgical and theatre ward and at St John of God Hospital in Rehabilitation. Throughout, my clinical placements I have gained hands on practical experience that has built on my theoretical knowledge. I would greatly value the opportunity to continue consolidating and applying these skills within your hospital.

I always endeavour to provide the highest quality nursing care to my patients and their families and always provide safe practice on the ward. I feel that your Graduate Nurse Program will offer me many opportunities and the guidance needed to begin my nursing career.
