About me
I am Ejike Obialor Ekenna, popular known as "Obie". Born into a family of six and the third child. I am happily married for 9 years and blessed with two lovely kids that means the world to me. One thing that keeps me going is spending quality time with my family, and playing soccer with my friends at my spare time. Growing up in the city of Lagos, a mega city and an island in Nigeria, has exposed and shaped me to the man I have become. Memories of the street soccer games, which elevated me to playing my first professional game for Pepsi Academy, made the games prefect during my high school days and a member of the soccer team during my university day is hard to forget especially within my peer group or circle of friends.
However, like Francis Bacon once said, " Reading maketh a man". My educational background started in my home country (Nigeria) where I studied Industrial physics in Federal University of Technology, Owerri-Nigeria, majored in Material science and I was awarded a Bachelor of Technology(B.Tech). I went further to study Environmental management in University of New South Wales, and was awarded a Graduate Diploma and finally am aspiring to get a masters degree in Enterprise System and Business Analytics (MTech.)
Professionally, having worked in different sectors like the Logistic, Oil servicing, Telecommunication, Construction and Health, where I occupied different positions like, Project Admin.(Telnet Group), Logistic officer (Arab Contractors and Bollore Group), Logistic Manager(Marshall International company), and Case officer (Global Disability), has broaden my experience by diversifying into different area of expertise and working on various projects like the installation of CCTV Cameras and access control for Shell multinational company in Lagos Island, Construction of 100km road in Ogun state-Nigeria and the investigation of annealed/ cold worked mild steel in different medium has expanded my experience in project management and team work.
In the next 5years I intend to run my own company, after gaining some years of work experience off or onshore working on big projects for different clients or brands.
However, working on this current project will be a step further in my career, a learning process, an added experience and an opportunity to implement what I have learnt in my chosen career path (business Analyst).
