Sub:-Application for the post of Registered Nurse

I feel highly privileged to apply for the post of Registered Nurse in your esteemed organization. I am highly motivated Registered Nurse with one year two months and 24 days of practical experience and hands-on skill in the high-level care of patients and I assure you that I can deliver the ultimate health services to patients if I am offered a job.

Following my graduation from Ballarat University with a Bachelor of Nursing Degree, I got my nursing registration with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council, thereby, I am licenced to practice as a Registered Nurse Division 1. It is a privilege to work with exceptionally talented and professional medical practitioners and nursing staff during my clinical postings, however I feel I am ready for a role in your institution, which offers new facilities and challenges in patient needs. This prepared me for patients with high-level care requirements, high-pressure and time-critical situations. I remain focused on the procedures and the individual demands of patients in order to best support the attending physicians.

During my final year nursing rounds, I gained experience in medical and surgical wards, oncology, and dialysis units. This experience gave me a thorough grounding in the process of admissions, assessment, treatment and education. As required of all students and staff, I demonstrated an excellent knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety protocol.

I have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop a confident and easy rapport with patients, families and fellow staff. I am also adept in accurate and efficient charting and maintenance of patient histories.

I know that I would be a valuable and reliable addition to Nimble Nurses and I invite you to contact me to discuss my suitability for this position.

Yours sincerely

My Philosophy

My nursing philosophy is that a nurse should have the qualities like honesty, compassion, sympathy, dedication, punctuality and time management, respect and advocacy. The primary and supreme intention of every nurse is to care their patients. The American Nurses Association states this idea well; the nurse promotes for, and strives to protect the health, safety, and rights of the patient. I would like to consider all patients as my parents, brothers and sisters or my relations so that I can treat them as they are my own. As graduating class of nurse, I need to take all of my knowledge, values and idealism into my job sites and apply them. If I am able to corporate all the core characteristics of nursing, such as knowledge, time management, compassion/caring, advocacy, respect, honesty and patient privacy I will be successful and well respected in my career not only by my patients and their families but also by other health care professionals and colleagues as well. I will strive to maintain and adhere to my personal nursing philosophy throughout my career. Nursing, as a whole, is a well-respected, rewarding and self-fulfilling career and I can't wait to play a part in it.My nursing philosophy is that a nurse should have the qualities like honesty, compassion, sympathy, dedication, punctuality and time management, respect and advocacy.
