My name is Nirmala Francis and I am an overseas qualified staff nurse. I worked in the neuro ICU department of VIMHANS Hospital in Delhi for three years. Currently I am about to finish my second semester of Bachelor of Nursing in the University of Ballarat. I am an eager, energetic and enthusiastic person looking forward to working in your esteemed organization as a Registered Div 1 nurse. My experience in India has given me a lot of confidence, time management skills and the ability to multitask. By nature I am compassionate and love helping people. I also like to work together with other healthcare professionals to achieve a common goal and I believe in the importance of team work. My past experience as a staff nurse and my current education in the University of Ballarat has taught me the importance of a holistic approach to patient care and the ability to utilze my skills and knowledge to deal with challenges in the Australian health care system. To successfully complete my Bachelor of Nursing in the University of Ballarat and to study further in cardiac nursing.

My short term goal is to successfully complete Bachelor of Nursing and to start working as a Registered Div 1 nurse in Australia. My long term career goals is to study further and become a specialist nurse and work in Cardiac ICU.

Good communication skills, quick thinking, adaptable to different environment and eagerness to learn more.

As a professional nurse, I am hardworking, cheerful, caring, comitted, flexible, ready to work long hours, sympathetic and empathetic towards patients, adaptable and emotionally strong to deal with difficult cases that come to hospital
