Reflection and Self Assessment
It is interisting to reflect back when I was just starting my BNP course I never thought that I will be able to got into this stage. Honestly, at the beginning I am terrified my computer skills is so terrible!! However, with the generous time and effort extended to me by my new friends in school, I was able to improve my skills. I am very thankful for their contribution and influence made in my life. Really God is so amazing, he has his way to Bless you. Pertaining to my career path to be honest, I cannot fully understand I am in this profession- refering to my limitations, however, limitations is not a hindrance if you have the passion to care and willingness to learn and be open for change and challenges, opportunity will always come along the way. In addition make that limitations an avenue for improvement you never know what's waiting for you along your journey of improvement and discovery.
Development of Learning Goals
Nursing is not a limited profession as you go along the way it will lead you to a new life perspective. However to embark in this ever challenging profession one has to develop a desire for change. Part of a change is learning- learning is a continous process it goes hand on hand with success. As for me, my learning goal is set on the objective to learn and acquire knowledge and skills which are relevant to my profession as a nurse. Although I am already a registered nurse overseas and I have gained experience working in a clinical setting my confidence is not enough to embark again in the clinical field. With the diversity of needs in the healthcare system in Australia and the array of client conditions basic knowledge and skills is not enough to deal with it. With the prevaledge I have to study nursing overseas I look forward to gain more knowledge and skills to develop confidence to make a change in one's life. And be able to met the standard requirements of the Australian Health Care System.
